ANATOMICAL RELATIONSHIP TO FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION

This series of anatomical studies focused on three distinct fish species; the Swordfish, Yellow Fin Tuna, and the Halibut. Evolution has biologically designed each to adapt their physical bodies for strength and speed to best suit their hunting needs. Summarizing the clear distinction of natures form follows function.

Originally conceived in November of 2015 the Pawn lamp is a 3D Designed / Printed Lamp. Inspired by the retro futuristic ideas spawned during the Metabolism movement of the 1960’s, the lamp is intended to use modulated single cast forms as a direct result of its 3D printed uprising.

SHADOW HILLS, CA - DECEMBER 19,  2012 - Portholes designed to be use as drums, seen from the outside of The Music Cabin, which is part of The Cabin Project at Shadow Hills Riding Club, December 19, 2012. The project has been in process for a year and a half and was designed and built by Woodbury University architecture students for the Shadow Hills Riding Club, a program for Equine Assisted Therapies. Students were given ready-made sheds from Lowe's and asked to make a sleeping cabin for two. (Photo by Ricardo DeAratanha).
